so..wat to say....
Hm...the things people will do to defend their pride...look at zizou. For all his reputation, all his goals, he couldn't hold his temper for another 10 mins.....over a matter of pride. Yea...materazzi said some nasty things i heard..and i suppose no one's mother/sister likes to be insulted.....but could zizou have swallowed it and settled it after the match?Cos, if he had, the finale and france's loss woulda been a lot less painful for a hero...one who has put so much into this tournament for his country. Anw...wat materazzi said shldnt be excused either....so although zizou may have "overreacted" the real culprit is materazzi....sportsmanship also means development of not just yr skills, but yr character, and materazzi is a "shining" example of wat a sportsman should not be. And..as much as i hate to admit it...apologies to all zizou supporters out there, even myself(lol)....neither is zizou.
Anw..moving on...
So.....had my handover thing. (Actually on friday but i only blog once every 2 days..sorry abt the time diff) Wasn't a grand ceremony...just called out our names, shook hands and that was it...yea...but in typical BB fashion....simple but with a lot of humour thrown in....(lol if your in my company you'll know what i meant) And so..leadership was transferred over..so..i'm now, officially, 2nd ic in christian education/worship. So yea..that's really it...and being a leader of course has its responsibilities....but no worries heh..cos the pressure mainly'll be on the 1st ic..haha..so yea...u cld say i'm slacking
So..gtg now...thks to all seniors and yea, gd luck for yr 'O's......
