1 whole week without posting wth..aiyah...busy la.....tests, bible quiz, and of course hw. what's more eoy is coming up in a month.....which leaves me even less time....
on the brighter side..bible quiz is on sat next week...finally i'll see all my efforts paid off.....i thank God for the pastor's patience with us..with my team for working hard..and for the fact that bible quiz does not clash with anyth like ptl or any major events.
back to s'pore idol...nurul was kicked out. which is also a pity....she had talent. unfortunately at tis stage of the competition, and considering her fellow idol wannabes, she just doesn't have enough substance. so i was not surprised she was voted out. exit nurul.
back to joakim....there's this article abt him in today...and after reading it, i realise the pressure he's under. He knows he's not talented vocally but his fans vote him week after week pressuring him to deliver...but he's just not competent..if he had left earlier he could have exited feeling none the worse. Now he's too far deep in...and *some* of his dumb fans do not see tis vicious cycle, they vote him, he does not deliver, they vote him again and he gets more nervous, all the while generating hate from the public. its bad enough he's in the top 5...now if he gets to the finals...no one is going to benefit. joakim will be ridiculed and so will s'pore. i've had enough of this.
so...on sat...for once i had nth on....so i spent the whole day revising work (believe it or not.) yes does sound incredible to spend 1 whole day jus hitting the books..but i did lol...albeit with music and the occasional anime episode. heh. i seriously tink no one can spend a whole day purely revising. enough to make a person crazy.
and on sun...well....baptism service with 6 new candidates, 3 transfers. nth extraordinary..though of course we don have baptism every sunday. i bet that **** charismatic city harvest does though.
and....julianne left for 1 year to go the US.....which of course is not exactly special......still.....always worth mentioning when a youth goes overseas for a prolonged period. lol i have nth else to blog abt. esp since she left with her entire family. (b.ong don read into this anymore than necessary)
so that's roughly to sum up a week i did not post even once.....
