Yes...its Singapore Idol mania again...roadshows...placards....fans.....
Most recently, the contestant reputed to have the best voice, Mathilda, was voted out. I watch S'pore Idol as part of leisure..so I'm neutral...but like most others i feel....once again Singaporeans have proven that they choose looks over voice.Yes....Mathilda was not necessarily marketable as say, a artist, but she should have made it to top 5 at least. Ironically, the fella with the least talent, Joakim Gomez, who sadly should have been booted weeks ago remains the person with one of the largest fan bases. And they complain that Idol has no talent. Cos all the talents were bloody voted out by screaming fans frantically voting for their favs, nvm their singing stinks. Or their others obviously better. And the fact that the other two who were also deserving, Jonathan and hady, were in the bottom 3 as well does not help things.
Anw..back to the reason I started a blog.....
The norm as usual....I'm glad to say my grades are starting to rise.....which shows that studying does pay off.......except of course for chinese. My chinese is just hopeless.
Sch musical on sat...damn i wanted to go ushering.....CIP hours, free admission plus all my frens are going....but thing is I already got the tick...arrg.......
Tmr cca...hell..tink I'll just pon..everyone's too excited with the musical to concentrate on cca....2 hrs cca lol....what's the point of going. Ah. C how.
